Publish the app
Your project must already be live before a custom domain can be attached. If you can see this page, this step is already done.
Open Publish → Add custom domain
In the Lovable editor, click the Publish button in the top-right (mobile: Preview mode → bottom-right ⋯ → Publish), then choose Add custom domain.
Can’t find it?
- •Easiest path: the Publish button sits in the top-right of the editor. Open it and click Add custom domain — no Settings menu required.
- •Mobile: switch to Preview mode, tap the bottom-right ⋯ menu, then tap Publish.
- •Alternate path (if you prefer Settings): click the project name/logo in the top-left → Settings → Project → Domains. Shortcut: Cmd + . / Ctrl + .. If you don’t see Settings, use the Publish dialog above instead.
Add honestvacationmarketing.com
Add honestvacationmarketing.com AND www.honestvacationmarketing.com as separate entries. Choose www.honestvacationmarketing.com as the Primary domain; the root will redirect to it.
You must add both entries separately. If you only add the root, the www version will not resolve. After both are added, set the Primary to www.honestvacationmarketing.com so all traffic redirects there.
Add DNS records at your registrar
Log in to wherever you bought the domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.) and create the three records shown below.
Wait for verification & SSL
Lovable detects the records automatically. SSL is issued once verification passes. This can take a few minutes up to 72 hours.
Send people to www.honestvacationmarketing.com
Once the domain status shows Active, your site is served at the custom domain. Test it in a private browser tab, then use that URL everywhere.

Note: the TXT value will be unique to your project. Lovable displays the exact value when you start the Connect Domain flow. The A records above are always the same for every Lovable project.

Ready
DNS points correctly. Will turn Active as soon as you publish.
Action required
You started the connect flow but didn't finish. Click Complete Setup.
Verifying
Waiting for DNS propagation. No action needed.
Setting up
Verification passed; SSL is being issued.
Active
Live and serving your site.
Offline
DNS changed and no longer points to Lovable. Fix the records.
Failed
Records are correct but SSL could not be issued. Click Retry.
If it’s not working yet
- Make sure there are no old A records or CNAMEs for
@orwwwleft over from a previous host. - DNS can take up to 72 hours to propagate, though it usually happens in minutes.
- If you use Cloudflare proxy, enable the “Domain uses Cloudflare or a similar proxy” option in the Connect Domain dialog.
- Verify with a tool like DNSchecker.org that the A records resolve to 185.158.133.1.
